Thanks to all who voted Judy Fu's Snappy Dragon best Chinese restaurant in Western Washington for the fourth year in a row! Congratulations to Judy, David and the gang!
Now Back To Work!!Happy New Year!
- The Year of the Dragon
Born in 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, Dragons are symbols of power and good fortune (lucky souls). They are brave, passionate and quick-tempered. Friendly with Rats and Monkeys, Dragons don't get along well with Dogs.
Nevertheless, all members of the Chinese Zodiac (and their associates) are invited to come by and celebrate the
Year of Snappy Dragon, where everyone gets along with Judy's homemade noodles, dumplings, and a long list of other favorites.
Gong Xi Fa Cai!
Kid Sticks at
Snappy Dragon
Fun colors and topped with your favorite zoo animals, Kid Sticks are chopsticks on training wheels. They will get every last grain of rice or strand of noodle on your plate. They even work for adults. So toss the fork and pick up some Kid Sticks the next time you visit Snappy Dragon.
Your Fortune -
Dipped in Chocolate!!!
Did you know in addition to the traditional fortune cookies served after your meal at Snappy Dragon, Snappy also has Chocolate -Dipped fortune cookies. Alas, chocolate comes with a price - $1.00 each.
Snappy Totes
Snappy Dragon Tote Bags are available at Snappy Dragon. Offered in a variety of colors (we're partial to red), they are $10 each and are excellent for carting away Kid Sticks, Chocolate-Dipped fortune cookies AND Judy Fu's Gourmet Sauces!!!
Speaking of Judy Fu's Gourmet Sauces
It's been ten years since their introduction at the 2001 Seattle Cooks! Show. Since then, the building next to Snappy Dragon burned to the ground (thanks to Seattle's finest, Snappy Dragon was saved), the U.S. has been involved in two wars, Judy Fu's Black Bean Sauce was added to the original product lineup, the Seahawks made their first and only Super Bowl appearance, we've endured a housing bubble/bust sandwiched between a recession and a Great Recession (what's so great about it?), the Sonics left town, and Judy Fu continues to put out a great product - both in the kitchen and in the jar.
Over these ten years, we have managed to hold the line on wholesale prices to our distributors and retailers. What was great quality at a reasonable price back then is now great quality at an even better price now. Thanks for everyone's support as we continue to serve the Pacific Northwest (and points beyond).
